CHARLESTON HARBOR TOURS
Our three hour harbor sail will take you out to Fort Sumter, the Charleston Battery and waterfront, up to the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Yorktown and Patriots Point. We will circle the entire harbor while you relax on the bow, amidships or cockpit and breath it all in. It is a rare occasion when we do not see a dolphin riding our bow wake or playing in the harbor waters around Charleston.
Some directions – We are Located beyond Patriots Point Museum at Harbor Marina and Resort 32 Patriots Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 Slip F-37. The entrance to the marina is the wooden boardwalk to the left of the Fish House Restaurant. Take a right at the end of the boardwalk towards F Dock. Turn left on F dock to slip F37.
Captain Mark Stetler
Over the past seventeen years Captain Mark Stetler has sailed the East Coast from Maine to Florida as well as the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico and Cuba. Mark’s licenses include 100 ton USCG Masters and he has served honorably in the United States Navy. His recent trips were the single-handed sailing of Alliance to the Abaco Islands for Abaco Race week in the Bahamas. A trip to Key West, Florida for The Conch Republic Cup Regatta and to Varadero and Havana, Cuba. Most of Captain Mark’s experience offshore has been single-handed sailing or short-handed sailing with limited crew. He also offers instruction on how to comfortably handle his 38 foot sailboat as well as the basics of sail and line handling. You will feel completely at ease and have total confidence with the boat and your safety as Alliance meets or exceeds all safety requirements by the United States Coast Guard. Mark is an active member in CORA and charters and races his boat here in Charleston.
